November is nearly here, and winter holidays are just around the corner. Plus, with Black Friday and holiday savings ramping up, there’s no better time to scour the internet for deals, discounts, and top savings.

Perhaps the best thing about the holiday season is that other major retailers are looking to cash in on the holiday shopping palooza, offering similar or better offerings on top products — and even membership opportunities. Right now, Walmart is discounting its Walmart+ membership program by 50%.

Instead of paying $98/year, you can sign up and pay only $49. This offer is valid through Dec. 2, 2024, so if you’re looking to grab exclusive membership savings that you can stretch all year, now’s your chance. The last time we saw this offer was back in July ahead of Prime Day.

Snagging this Walmart+ subscription will also unlock access to Walmart’s upcoming Black Friday Deals event, which begins Nov. 11 at 12 p.m. ET for Walmart+ members. All other customers can shop online at 5 p.m. ET and in stores on Friday, Nov. 15 at 6 a.m. local time.

Walmart+ provides a plethora of added benefits to customers, including free delivery from your store, free shipping with no order minimum, saving 10 cents per gallon at 13,000+ fuel locations nationwide (including Exxon, Mobil, Walmart, and Murphy stations), video streaming with Paramount+, auto care services, returns from home, early access to exclusive savings, mobile scan and go, and more.

Don’t miss out on a chance to save on membership perks that can be used all year and access early savings ahead of everyone else this Black Friday.

Now until Dec. 2, 2024, you can purchase a one-year annual Walmart+ membership for just $49 (save 50%).

ZDNET remains committed to finding, sharing, and updating the best product deals for you to score the best savings. Our team of experts regularly checks in on the deals we share to ensure they are still live and obtainable. We’re sorry if you’ve missed out on a deal, but don’t fret — we’re constantly finding new chances to save and sharing them with you at ZDNET.com.

Disclaimer: This offer is available only to new, expired, monthly, and current Walmart+ trial members. Members through Walmart+ Assist, or with InHome or Paramount+ with SHOWTIME are not eligible. After your promotional term, your plan will auto-renew for $98/year plus any applicable taxes. If you are a trial member, your promotional term will start immediately, and the remainder of your free trial will be forfeited.

Walmart will host a series of staggered Black Friday Deals events in November, starting with its first event kicking off on Nov. 11. Early Black Friday sales will include early access for paid Walmart+ members, new surprise deal drops, and a beta test of its new generative AI shopping assistant this year. Walmart’s in-store hours are from 6 a.m.- 11 p.m., with no indications of expanded hours for the holiday shopping season. Walmart will additionally be closed on Thanksgiving. Here’s all the details on Walmart’s upcoming Black Friday sale events:

  • Event 1: Deals begin online Monday, Nov. 11 at 12 p.m. ET for Walmart+ members, at 5 p.m. ET for all customers and in stores Friday, Nov. 15 at 6 a.m. local time.
  • Event 2: Deals begin online Monday, Nov. 25 at 12 p.m. ET for Walmart+ members, at 5 p.m. ET for all customers and in stores Friday, Nov. 29 at 6 a.m. local time.
