Asus has kicked of its new product launches this year with the FonePad 8. The 8-inch tablet comes with the next generation 64-bit Intel Atom Processor and voice calling capabilities. The tablet is priced at Rs. 13,999 and is now available via Asus exclusive stores and Flipkart.

The FonePad 8 is powered by a 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3530 processor which is coupled with 2GB of RAM. The tablet has 16GB of internal storage and comes with microSD card support of up to 64GB. It uses an 8-inch LED IPS panel with a resolution 1280 x 800 pixels.

There are two cameras on the tablet with a 5MP camera at the back and 2MP camera up front. The tablet supports dual-SIM and 3G voice calling. It also comes with a 4000mAh battery and Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box.
